Overall, the project will seek to be the missing connection between the historic core of downtown Sebastopol and the newer Barlow project area to the east by filling a gap in active uses and creating an improved, attractive, and continuous pedestrian realm, including wider sidewalks and publicly accessible passages through the hotel grounds. h3 Guest House arrives to provide more guest accommodations to the thriving wine country town of Healdsburg in Sonoma County. The design features updated iterations on the material palette of it's modern sister property h2hotel, with redwood sunshading and vine-covered cable trellises at the street level.
The new LEED certified building will bring 39 rooms—including six suites—and guest parking via valet-served parking lifts in a super-efficient, out-of-sight garage. The upper level will feature an indoor-outdoor guest lounge overlooking the h2hotel's waving green roof, a meeting room facing Healdsburg Avenue, a creekside swimming pool and garden park.
Construction started in Spring of 2016 and is slated to open in Spring of 2018.
Hotel San Luis Obispo will be a three story, 115,000 square foot, 78-room boutique hotel located in downtown San Luis Obispo. The hotel will also consist of two restaurants, versatile meeting and event spaces that can accommodate up to 350 guests, an outdoor pool and a contemporary spa. The hotel site is located in the pedestrian friendly downtown area, on the hillside across the street from the historic Mission.
Hotel San Luis Obispo will be a destination for travelers and locals alike who will come to enjoy the great restaurants, on-site spa and regular events. It will cater to a broad range of travelers including central coast leisure & business travelers, visitors to Cal Poly, and regional shoppers.
The project is fully entitled and approved by the City of San Luis Obispo. Construction began in early 2016, and is expected to open in Spring of 2018.
