The proposed project at 400 Healdsburg Avenue will be a very small boutique hotel with a total of 16 rooms. The units will offer longer stay opportunities for larger groups such as families or traveling friends. On the corner of Healdsburg Avenue and North Street, the building will include a semi enclosed plaza, with large garage-style doors on each side. Named Merritt Plaza, after the late Merritt Sher, co-founder of Piazza Hospitality, the hope is the plaza will become a cherished community asset.
The proposed project at 6828 Depot Street will be a small, design-oriented boutique hotel with 66 rooms. The Hotel will also include a lobby and reception area, retail, artist/maker studios, restaurant, bar, lounge, wellness center, public courtyard, private gardens, outdoor rooftop decks, meeting rooms, and other hotel amenities. Located between historic downtown Sebastopol and The Barlow commercial district, the project will create a long sought after synergy between the two districts.
